The sky said nothing
Azure, royal, turquoise
The clouds kept coming
The allure of a lost cause
All the shades of blue
Can be spectacular
Trajectory singular
Serenely ethereal
Always peculiar
This is my blue lane
The mind’s azure bullet train
Speeding through knowledge
Hiss, shriek, and sigh
Gone steel berserk
With my heart’s desire
By trying to be better
What have we done to each other
My walls built up so high
You can barely see behind
Let’s break it down
And release the clown
The life of the mind
Pulsating with rapture
Come with me on this life’s adventure
Cackle until we’re blue in the face
Look into me with a sapphire gaze
Mix a different shade of blue
The soft chirping kind
As nature intended
Primeval and wild
Being and nothingness
Cyan and cerulean
The waters have spoken
Silent yet salient
A cobalt moon whisper
Distant and alien
But I’m blue no more
In this cold light of evening
I go through new doors
As the visions bring healing
This ember of living
This path of giving
Share it for a while
Then vanish
