Powerfully alone
Alone with contentment
I am returning to myself
The one I have left
The newly formed surface
That was once a field of pain
Shaken and transformed
Forming new terrain
There’s no recognition
This is a new me
A marble block tower
An engine of need
Free of everything
Yet one, not separate
I gaze and I gaze
A sea of people and things
I see and I greet
And let go
Breath is everything
When beset by anger
The chaos ruptured the day
And broke the lantern
She is my compass
Warm and tender
You are here
Nostalgia eternal
All the senseless ones
I had too much time for
I protect and I cherish
My solitude
My spark
My luck
My love
And I recognize the path
My only one
